That is what I thought Rita as I was making it. Can't get the proper ingredients for a DC here. This is was great and you don't need the bockwurst. It is still a good meal with the vegetables.

I notice you usually cook more than enough for 2. Does Dudley always get the second serving, and does he like cabbage?

No Evelyn. He only gets to lick the plate or the dish. I posted a while ago that it was cheaper to cook for two then one. It is also better to cook for two than for one. I end up eating everything and that is why I've put on 30 lbs. since I stopped working. Too easy to over eat but thank god it is all fresh food.

Poor Duds, it must be torture for him to smell all that lovely food and only get a lick. However, he looks very healthy on whatever he gets besides the licks.

If torture exists in the dog world then Dudley has never heard of it. To give you just an overview. He has his own electic blanket, his own email address, his choice of a mercedes or a landrover to take him to the park, daily sleep ins until 2 or 3 in the afternoon, only the finest canine gourmet special food that can only be bought in the vets office, it is not on sale commercially and it costs $80.00 per bag. At the park he is the toast of the town, everyone knows him and I am known as ' Dudley's owner'. I have had people stop me in the checkout line and say ' aren't you Dudleys owner?' this after years of attracting the opposite sex.
To top it all he has 3 different kinds of treats. The first is a pedestrian/everyday treat, the second is a semi-special event treat and the third is known as ' El Grande' which he gets twice a week just for being himself.
He also has the distinction of answering only to the strains of Beethoven's 5th in the park.
Poor Dudley!
