hi ive been following your blog for quite sometime now. i just have a question about the baked potato bacon soup. how do you make the soup, do you bake the potatoes first before sauteeing it with the bacon? thanks.

Thank you for visiting and following the blog. Yes you do bake the potatoes and allow them to cool before adding adding them to the bacon and onions. I have added and extensive explanation and recipe to the original post. If you have any more questions please let me know and I hope your soup turns out well.

Thank you for the recipe, James. I had this soup over the weekend and it was amazingly good. I froze 2/3 of it and kept the other 1/3 out for dinner, paired it with a small bit of steak and some fresh veggies.
