Beef, Guinness And Garlic Stew

I put some whole cloves of garlic in this dish without the
strong garlic taste using this method: Peel the garlic cloves
and poach them in water until tender. Strain the cloves and
wrap them in some muslin cloth. Add this to your dish and
when the whole thing is cooked remove the muslin and return
the cloves to the dish after the sauce has been strained.
