Same resort with a slightly different crew and the addition of the 3 star Michelin Chef Roger Verge with whom I had worked in France and who came to California at my invitation to do a Mediterranean Festival Of Food for three days in Palm Springs. This was a great success and was done with the collaboration of the General Manager Anthony Stewart Moore who is one of the better GM's I worked with. He is now the GM of the Grosvenor House London.
Signed by all my staff when I left.

Wonderful picture, Jim, a career to be proud of for sure.
Thank you Ter.
Wow. That is very impressive!!! What great memories you must have when you look at it.
That's a great photo..
this is marvellous. Was anybody on duty in the kitchen while it was being taken? Any comments I could read showed the high esteem in which they all held you. Congrats Jim
Thanks Rita. Someone always stays on duty when these photos are taken and then they come out when everything is set up and take their place. The staff usually love these pictures. They make great souvenirs. Proof is that I still have mine from the Savoy in 1965,.
Must have been a huge kitchen,
very stressful job I would imagine.
Not for our Jim..
